Gomez, in a red Grecian gown by Dolce & Gabbana, and Bieber, in a black tux – with a red pocket square to match his date – looked every bit the comfortable couple as they posed with their arms around each other before the party, held at the Sunset Tower Hotel in West Hollywood. As the night went on, the pals shared shots on Twitter, showing Gomez sitting close to Bieber with her hand resting on his knee … Before they showed up at Sunday’s Oscar bash, Bieber and Gomez were spotted at The St. Regis Monarch Beach in Dana Point, Calif., where they enjoyed a night in the Penthouse Suite on Saturday, according to the resort. While there the pair were seen cuddling, holding hands and strolling on the beach. They also shared a cozy dinner at celebrity chef Michael Mina’s Stonehill Tavern.
Justin Bieber has said that he could never consider dating actress Hailee Steinfeld because there is too much of an age gap between the pair.
Bieber met the True Grit star while they presented an award together at this month's Golden Globes.
Talk show host Jay Leno questioned Bieber about their meeting during the teenager's recent appearance on The Tonight Show.
"She's really nice and really talented," Bieber said. "I think she's cute."
However, when pressed by the host about his affection for Steinfeld, Bieber insisted that he was too old for the actress.
"She's 14, I'll be 17 in less than a month," Bieber said.
Bieber was appearing on the show to promote his new film Never Say Never, due to be released in cinemas on February 11.

It seems as though somebody with Photoshop posted a picture of a supposedly topless Selena on the internet. Many believed that the Disney star was sending intimate photos to her boyfriend Justin Bieber. But, her reps are quickly denying that such photos are legit.
“The alleged photo of Selena Gomez is absolutely not her,” a rep for the Wizards of Waverly Place actress tells E! News. “Selena’s family is pursuing all available remedies to deal with the offender.”
After all Gomez has gone through in the past month, with death threats and twitter hacking, let’s hope this is the end of her bad luck.

Justin Bieber has insisted that he has no plans to delete his Twitter account – because he likes using it to control gossip about him.
The U Smile singer went on the social networking website today to dispel the rumours that he was going to get rid of his account.
He tweeted: 'Woke up to today's rumour that I was going to delete my Twitter [account]. Nope. Never that. Where did that [rumour] even come from? I love talking to you all here.

Meanwhile, Disney star Selena Gomez has recently received a string of death threats, after she was pictured kissing the teenage pop star while holidaying on the Caribbean island of St Lucia, according to reports.
