Justin Bieber is a Seventeen Stud
Justin Bieber keeps it cool on the cover of Seventeen magazine.

The 16-year-old musician dished backstage at his photo shoot about what he’s thinking about on stage, the social networking game and the highlight of his year. Check it:

On what he’s really thinking about on stage:
“I’m always thinking of the fans and wanting to show them a little love and support.”

On the most exciting thing that’s happened this year:
“I performed for President Obama. That was amazing. I really liked that.”

On advice for a first date:
“A bad first date would be to the movies. You can’t talk to the girl and get to know her. But it is good to dinner. That way you do get to talk to her.”

justin bieber stanley cup 18

Justin Bieber shows off the coveted Stanley Cup before his performance on NBC’s Today Show in NYC on Friday (June 4).

The 16-year-old singer talked with Matt Lauer before his performance as well about just what he received from Usher for his recent birthday: a Range Rover!

Justin shared, “Yep, he did [get me one]. I was back in Los Angeles recently and had the chance to drive it around. I only have my permit right now so my mom was with him. I’m not super cool yet.”

Earlier this morning on "Today," Canadian pop superstar Justin Bieber came face-to-face with thousands of fans who crowded into Rockefeller Center in the middle of midtown Manhattan (some of whom had been camped out there since Wednesday night). The singer sat down for a brief interview with co-host Matt Lauer before walking outside to a chorus of ecstatic screams and performing a 30 minute set.

But perhaps the best encounter the singer had during his stint on the show was when he encountered the Stanley Cup, the NHL's storied championship trophy. It was also visiting "Today" (accompanied by former Hartford Whalers star Brendan Shanahan and official "Keeper of the Cup" Mike Bolt), and Bieber got a little bit of face time with the most coveted prize in all of professional athletics. Bieber is a huge hockey fan and has played for most of his life. He grew up a fan the Toronto Maple Leafs (his local team), but now that he resides in Atlanta, will he shift his alliances towards the Thrashers?

In related news, it seems Justin has a passion for hair styling, and has even tried his hand at cutting his stylist’s coif.

Vanessa Price told press, “He always wants to try and cut my hair. He actually trimmed my bangs! He’s going to be an amazing hair stylist once his career is over.”

He’s one of the hottest singers in the world, and Justin Bieber was spotted performing on the “Today” show in New York City this morning (June 4).

The “Baby” singer looked to be in good spirits as he took the stage and whipped the audience into a frenzy with his hit tune "Baby".
