This just in: 'Punk'd' has Bieber Fever.

MTV is reviving Ashton Kutcher's prank show with Justin Bieber as the host and Mr. Demi Moore producing, deadline.com reports.

The show, which debuted in 2003, was a "Candid Camera"-style reality show in which then-host Kutcher used a variety of gadgets and trickery to prank unsuspecting celebrities.

Some of its more famous victims included Beyonce Knowles, Dwayne Johnson (then called The Rock), Lindsay Lohan and Justin Timberlake.

The original "Punk'd" went off the air in 2007, although deadline.com reports the revival has been quietly gaining steam and will go into production next year.

Future host Bieber is no stranger to pranks himself. Last month he reportedly nailed a state trooper in the crotch with a water balloon before he was set to perform at the Maryland State Fair; the teen icon's bodyguard managed to diffuse the situation before the Biebs was reprimanded.

The hosting gig isn't the only good news for Bieber this week: Billboard reports that the singer, along with Lady Gaga, is fast approaching one billion views on YouTube. The teen pop star, who was discovered in part thanks to homemade YouTube videos, currently has the site's number one clip, the "Baby" music video, with 345 million hits.

Justin Bieber's "U Smile" video has dropped. You can watch it below, and as the Bieb Tweeted recently, this one's all about making your – yes, your! – dreams come true (should your fantasy happen to be holding hands and having water-fights with the world's most beloved leprechaun).

"I took the opportunity 2 make a video 4 the fans, about a fan, and how we could fall IN LOVE," Tweeted Bieber earlier this week, causing his 5.5 million followers to ovulate simultaneously.

And in case you couldn't glean the details from the (very obvious) video narrative, Biebz took the time to spell out the clip's concept via Twitter (and an excessive amount of ellipses) last night following its premiere:

"every interview every show I get asked would i date a fan....well as a SINGLE guy...yes single...the answer is......yes...i would date whoever i fell for. and that could be a fan. so the video is that story......the video is i meet as she is a fan...and i fall for her. i fall 4 her smile...it is the story of me and her..and she represents all of u so when u watch tonight think that could be us :) when u smile i smile. enjoy. hope u like it."

Pop sensation Justin Beiber has been linked to many starlets but it was his mother who was on his arm as he attended his guitarist's wedding.

The Baby hitmaker joined in the festivities at the Jewish wedding of Dan Kanter and was accompanied by his mother Pattie Mallette, reported Daily Mail online.

Wearing a traditional yarmulke skullcap with his pink shirt and vest, the 16-year-old danced with his mother.

The 32-year-old also manages her son's career and had her first and only child when she was just 16.

And Pattie was his date to the nuptials, despite rumours he is dating another teen pop star, Jasmine Villegas, who co-starred in one of his music videos.
