The second season of "Glee" already has fans buzzing about some exciting new musical possibilities. After initially declining an offer from "Glee" producers, Coldplay has finally come around to the idea of being featured on the show.
“Coldplay and Bryan Adams were really the only rejections. But Coldplay called a week ago and said, ‘We’re sorry, you can have our catalog,’ ” Glee‘s creator, Ryan Murphy, tells the Hollywood Reporter.
With top selling albums like "X & Y," "Parachutes" and "Viva La Vida," producers will have a wide range of musical possibilities to choose from.
And while Justin Bieber does not boast an impressively large catalog of music like Coldplay, don't rule him out for a feature on "Glee." Justin definitely has one cast member cheering on a future collaboration. Cory Monteith is pulling for the teen pop star to make an appearance in the future. "I think it would be fun," Monteith recently told E! News. "What's wrong with a little Bieb? Everyone needs to be a little infected by the Biebonic plague."
In addition to Coldplay and Justin Bieber, stars like Adam Lambert, Susan Boyle and Britney Spears have all been considered for "Glee." Fans will just have to wait and see which stars turn up in the fall when "Glee" returns for season three.
Justin has yet to respond to rumors that he could team up with "Glee" for season two. Would you like to see the Canadian pop star join the cast? Do you think Justin's music would fit well with the show? Leave comments below.
