It's come to this: No one is more willing to talk about acne than a musician.

With acne treatment Proactiv's signing earlier this month of Justin Bieber as a spokesman, the teen star joins Katy Perry, Avril Lavigne, Sean "Diddy" Combs, Jessica Simpson, Alicia Keys and Mandy Moore as recording artists who have signed up to talk openly about "critters on their face," as Perry refers to it in her spot.

Proactiv has made it lucrative for them to talk, signing multimillion-dollar deals for the biggest names. Bieber will get $3 million for his two-year deal, similar to what Simpson was paid, according to a cosmetics industry source. Perry and Lavigne are paid almost as much.

"We did it because the kid uses it," says Bieber's manager, Scooter Braun, who wouldn't confirm the $3 million price tag. "I never want to do anything with Justin's brand that isn't organic. He isn't manufactured."

STRATFORD—Chaz Somers stretches out on the sofa, unfolding his nearly six-foot frame languidly –– a sleepy teenager on an end-of-summer day. It is 3 p.m. and Somers has been awake about an hour. Even an iced cappuccino has failed to make him completely alert; he yawns. He is 14 and another sun-drenched afternoon lies before him.

Downtown, tourists and locals mingle as light glints off the Avon River near where Ryan Butler is working. Butler has a perfect job for a 15-year-old, setting up and taking down equipment for the Stratford Summer Music festival, which showcases bluegrass fiddlers and opera stars including Ben Heppner.

A third member of their crowd, Nolan Murray, 15, has spent the afternoon in another summer teenage idyll, riding forest trails on a friend’s ATV. Later he watches a movie, before his mother, Andrea, drives him to his part-time job, washing dishes at Kelsey’s restaurant.

There’s someone missing from this group. His name is Justin Bieber, the 16-year-old pop star who performs Saturday night at a sold-out concert at the Air Canada Centre. Tickets were being offered for resale Friday at $515 each. Bieber, with the clear voice, sweet face and shiny sweep of bangs, is touring Canada and the U.S. this year — from state fairs to Madison Square Garden. He has 4.6 million followers on Twitter; the YouTube video of him singing with the rapper Ludacris has had 294 million viewings, the most recorded.

Listen up, David Beckham; Justin Bieber has a proposal for you.

Upon hearing that Beckham's sons—Romeo, Cruz and Brooklyn—are huge fans of his music, "Baby" singer Bieber has extended an offer (via British newspaper The Sun) to the soccer star: He'll perform a private concert for the Beckham family at their home, in exchange for some one-on-one soccer lessons from the Los Angeles Galaxy star:

"I am sure he would do anything to make his three boys happy and if I am their favorite artist I would happily come and put on a private show at the Beckham household. All I would ask for in return is that we go into his yard for an hour afterwards and he teaches me all those crazy things he can do with a soccer ball." - Justin Bieber

Sounds like a fair trade to us. Except for the fact that, if Bieber becomes any more talented than he already is, the universe just might implode from the weight of his awesomeness.

OK Justin Bieber fans, get ready to add yet another Hollywood starlet to your list of JB-supporters. 'Breaking Dawn' star Nikki Reed admitted to MTV News that she's officially been hit by "Bieber Fever."

Unlike many though, it took Nikki a little longer to jump into the Bieber fanbase, mainly because at first she didn't really get what the hype was about.
