It's official: Justin Bieber's "Baby" is the most-watched music video on YouTube of 2010!

Production values, or the fact it's a cheesy dance video set in a bowling alley be damned, Canadians watched Justin Bieber's "Baby" more than any other music video on YouTube this year. And because 408,641,194 (...195, 196, 197) views isn't enough for pop's reigning elf, the lords of YouTube have made re-watching the clip even easier. YouTube has just launched a special site called Rewind, which features what we all love most at this time of year: endless lists.

Bieber appears three times on the Top 10 list of Canadians' most-watched music videos -- four if you stretch things to count his participation in that Young Artists for Haiti single, "Wavin' Flag." (You can check out the top 10 -- with embedded video -- below this blurb.)

But The Bieb's tiny-fisted stranglehold on the U.S. Top 10 is even tighter. The Stratford-born Bieber's "Baby" also appears on the U.S. list in the No. 1 slot, but Biebz scores four videos on that set of rankings.

There's plenty of overlap between what Canadian and U.S. YouTube users were watching in 2010, though (i.e. Bieber, Bieber and Bieber). Both Top 10s feature the same two Eminem hits ("Not Afraid," "Love the Way You Lie") as well as videos from Shakira ("Waka Waka (This Time for Africa)") and Rihanna ("Rude Boy"). However, Canadians apparently don't hit refresh on Lady Gaga videos with quite the same fervency as our neighbours. Though she was one of the most ubiquitous figures of 2010, and features with two videos -- "Alejandro" and "Telephone" -- on the U.S. Top 10, Lady Gaga doesn't rate on the Canadian list. Instead, we were watching videos by Usher ("OMG") and Katy Perry ("California Gurls"). If you don't stand at attention and sing "O Canada" the next time you see her lactate whipped cream, a baby seal will die.

Justin Bieber's team is enlisting some of the music industry's biggest stars for his next album. And according to Taio Cruz, working on tracks for the pop star's next album comes with quite a bit of pressure.

"Yes, I am [writing for Justin]," the "Dynamite" singer confirmed to MTV News at Z100's Jingle Ball on Friday. "I was just recently asked to work for Justin Bieber, so that should be good.

"Yeah, he is a big deal," Cruz added. "I don't want to disappoint his fans — they can be angry little 12-year-olds. He's fun. He's young, so we'll keep it in the right arena; just fun, young pop music."

So how did the collaboration between Cruz and Bieber come to be? Cruz explained, "Sometimes the label or someone or management will ask me to write something specifically and they'll give me a few topics, a few things to focus on, and then we come up with ideas."

Not much is known about Bieber's next album, but Justin did share with MTV News in September that it would "probably [come out] fourth quarter next year." "Drake is gonna be on that album; I'm not sure [who else]. I'm gonna ask him if he can get [Lil] Wayne on there," Bieber revealed.

Aside from writing for Bieber, Cruz said that in 2011 he hopes to have a few more radio hits of his own after an impressive 2010.

"I would say next year, just more good songs. Hopefully the fans, and new fans, enjoy the music as much as they are currently," he said. "I've been working with so many amazing people — David Guetta and Swedish House Mafia — and producing more stuff myself, as well. I've got some really, really good songs in the bag."

Remember when Justin tweeted that there was an interview he just did that was his favorite
of all time because she actually talked to him? I get the feeling this is that interview.

You can tell he's really into the interview which we haven't seen in a long time.

Canadian Justin Bieber has made another big year-end list, this time making Twitter's top 10 trends of 2010.

The social networking site says 25 billion tweets have been sent this year so far, and the top trend was talk about the Gulf of Mexico oil spill.

Bieber, who has more than 6.3 million followers on Twitter, was eighth on the overall list and first in the people category.

Bieber fans responded with outrage earlier in the year after his name stopped appearing on Twitter's list of trending topics. They called it a conspiracy, but Twitter explained that once a topic has become very popular it's harder to appear on the list.

The trending list identifies topics that are increasing in popularity.

So Bieber fans responded by finding another way to get their hero on the list. They continued to constantly tweet about him but referred to him as Bustin Jieber instead.

Last week, Google also announced that Bieber was one of the top searched terms worldwide.

HARRISBURG, Pa.—A central Pennsylvania girl seriously injured in a car crash has received flowers from teen heartthrob Justin Bieber thanks to a Facebook campaign launched by her fellow students.

The Patriot-News reports the 16-year-old pop star sent two dozen roses to 14-year-old Elizabeth McCleerey on Saturday. Another teen idol, 13-year-old Cody Simpson, visited McCleerey in person last week.

McCleerey remains hospitalized following a late October car crash that injured her and four others. She has had to relearn how to speak but her mother says she remembers all the words to both performers' songs.

A fellow freshman at Cumberland Valley High School started the group, which drew the backing of National Guard soldiers and has more than 3,000 supporters.
