Twitter was crazy last night with Beliebers vs Beliebers.

I understand both sides but for those that don't understand why some of us seem to have such a problem with what's going on then read this article:

Justin Bieber: I would never delete my Twitter account

Justin Bieber has insisted that he has no plans to delete his Twitter account – because he likes using it to control gossip about him.

The U Smile singer went on the social networking website today to dispel the rumours that he was going to get rid of his account.

He tweeted: 'Woke up to today's rumour that I was going to delete my Twitter [account]. Nope. Never that. Where did that [rumour] even come from? I love talking to you all here.

'Thanks to Twitter, rumours can't run wild. We talk directly. We know what it is. People can say what they want, but me and my fans have a bond.'

Meanwhile, Disney star Selena Gomez has recently received a string of death threats, after she was pictured kissing the teenage pop star while holidaying on the Caribbean island of St Lucia, according to reports.

Bieber’s fans have reportedly posted several hostile messages to the 18-year-old actress-singer on Twitter.

MONSTERS & CRITIC

This is a perfect example of why I have a problem with them not admitting to their relationship.

Through Twitter, Facebook, and Youtube, Justin (and Scooter) have always communicated straight to the fans. Whether to dispel rumors or to let us know what he is up to today, Bieber and Beliebers have a connection like no other. We have supported him this way from the very beginning and most of us feel we have a part in his huge success.

So now that there is his "big Selena rumor", why does Justin now choose to be quiet instead of dealing directly with this fans through Twitter. Is there no longer a bond?

And don't say "he should keep his private life private". You can't all of a sudden expect privacy and choose to be quiet especially if you choose to date someone so public.

justinbieber selenagomez dating

All you have to do is say you're dating Selena Gomez and then we can all move on. Ignoring us fans when we want, need, and expect an answer straight from you most is just wrong.

Do you agree?

new justin bieber cute picture

Canadian Justin Bieber has made another big year-end list, this time making Twitter's top 10 trends of 2010.

The social networking site says 25 billion tweets have been sent this year so far, and the top trend was talk about the Gulf of Mexico oil spill.

Bieber, who has more than 6.3 million followers on Twitter, was eighth on the overall list and first in the people category.

Bieber fans responded with outrage earlier in the year after his name stopped appearing on Twitter's list of trending topics. They called it a conspiracy, but Twitter explained that once a topic has become very popular it's harder to appear on the list.

The trending list identifies topics that are increasing in popularity.

So Bieber fans responded by finding another way to get their hero on the list. They continued to constantly tweet about him but referred to him as Bustin Jieber instead.

Last week, Google also announced that Bieber was one of the top searched terms worldwide.

Fan cries after being followed by @justinbieber on Twitter

How would you react if you found out Justin Bieber was following you on Twitter? @katiee_nicole freaked out (like most Beliebers probably would) and called her best friend crying, while filming the conversation so she could post it on YouTube.

Justin, who's nominated for two Grammys, followed Katie on November 24, but she explains that she didn't even notice the tears-of-happiness moment at first.

"This was really special for me because I've had a Twitter since 2009 and have tweeted Justin, literally everyday since I made my Twitter account. I would always get discouraged when I realized he hadn't tweeted me, or followed me. But I never gave up. At this point when ever I tweeted Justin I just assumed he wasn't gonna see it. But I still would," Katie said.

So how did she find out that he was following her on Twitter?

"Well someone tweeted that he followed me so I checked and he was so I got really excited, and called my bestfriend, I honestly don't know why I recorded it, I guess so I could just show my friends my reaction, and how happy I was," she told us.

So what would she tell Bieber if he could see only one of her tweets? "If he could only see one, I would want it to say that for being such a huge celebrity he seems down to earth and he really cares about his fans. And I hope to meet him someday!"

Want Biebs to follow you, too? Listen to how the Oregon native made it happen.

"That day I tweeted Justin maybe 5 times, and I didn't get a response or anything. I was talking to some other people so I kinda forgot about it. Then some girl tweeted me "JUSTIN BIEBER IS FOLLOWING YOU :D" I didn't believe her so I checked my followers, but I didn't see Justin's name so I tweeted back "Umm no he isn't :( i wishh!! :p" But some part of me thought maybe he was following me, so I tried to send him a private message and it worked, it went through. I went back to my followers and saw Justin's name, the 5th one from the top. I jumped up and started screaming!! I was in shock!"

Katie obviously called her bestie immediately. Check out the video. If Justin's following you, tell us your story!

Congrats JB. You seriously have the most devoted fans and we're glad more and more people are catching the fever each day.

07 September 2010

According to the Gizmodo.com a Twitter employee in a tweet stated that at any moment 3% of what twitter is doing is related to Justin Bieber and that they have whole machines dedicated to working with just JB related stuff!

Justin Bieber uses 3% of Twitter resources at any moment. According to a Twitter employee—talking to designer Dustin Curtis—Bieber has "racks of servers dedicated to him. I'm sure this will excite his haters (hello 4chan!) even more.
Dustin confirmed to us that his tweet is not a joke. He was told about it by a Twitter employee. Since Bieber is almost a perennial trending topic, I'm not surprised. Still, and given the 180 million unique visitors every month, that's quite an achievement.

This isn't exactly surprising to somebody who is very technically inclined, but either way this is a nice achievement of Justin's.

As you may already be aware, Lady Gaga is Twitter’s most-followed user with more than 5.74 million followers. But who is Twitter’s most-listed user?

Now that 10 months have passed since the introduction of Lists, who reigns supreme as Twitter’s most-listed user? Is it Lady Gaga, Twitter’s most-followed user? Or how about Britney Spears, who previously held the crown? Or perhaps it’s Ashton Kutcher, the “king of Twitter,” according to Oprah?

No, it's Justin Bieber!!

1. Justin Bieber: 264,700+ lists
2. Lady Gaga: 106,900+ lists

TEEN pop star Justin Bieber posted a Detroit teenager's phone number to his 4.5 million followers on Twitter in an act of revenge, Gawker reported Sunday.

The tweet, which Bieber posted around midnight Saturday, read, "Everyone call me 248-XXX-XXXX :) or text." The phone number was not Bieber's but the cell phone of Detroit-area teenager Kevin Kristopik.

Bieber was reportedly angry at Kristopik for hacking the Twitter account of one of Bieber's friends and using it to get the star's phone number. Kristopik admitted the hacking, writing, "im the one who hacked ryan and got justins #" on July 27.

Bieber deleted the tweet a few minutes later, but the damage had already been done: Thousands of Bieber's followers retweeted the message, and Kristopik received countless phone calls and more than 10,000 text messages.

29 July 2010

Yesterday afternoon Justin's twitter account hit a milestone reaching the 4,000,000 followers mark and bumping him up to the 6th most followed account on Twitter. Yay!

Though Britney Spears, who is currently the most followed on Twitter, has 5,419,741 followers, her average number of new followers per day is only about 6,214. That is not even comparable to the number of new followers that Justin gets, a little over 20,000 per day. If things continue at this rate, expected Justin to take over as the King of Twitter in about 4 months, just before we ring in the 2011 new year.

This would make him the undisputed king of the internet (most searched, most viewed video on Youtube, and most followed on Twitter).

Congrats JB!

22 July 2010

Twitter played a huge part in Justin's instinct rise to fame in a very short time period but is Justin the only person behind his tweets?

I have long suspected for a while now that Justin, like other celebrities, is not the only person behind his tweets despite Scooter's claim that he forces Justin to spend 2 hours on Twitter each day in order to stay connected with his fans. That might have been true early on in his career when he had plenty of free time but I personally do not believe this is completely true anymore.

Justin is now one of the biggest celebrities who is extremely busy with appearances, rehearsals, concerts, and a million other things that we (the stalkerish fansite blog that we are) are not even aware of (recording new music, time with family and friends, etc) that I find it extremely hard to believe that he himself makes all those tweets, which if you closely look at the time of the tweets, must mean he has no real sleeping schedule as the tweets occur at all times of the day.

So after seeing this sound check video taken in LA, I'm now absolutely convinced that JB is not the only person behind his tweets. At 2:46 into the video, a fan asked him "What is your favorite part about the party on wheels?" to which he replied "Party on wheels? What's that? I've never heard of that expression."

Well, if JB never heard of that expression, and if he was the only one tweeting from his twitter account, then how does he explain, not just one, but the two following tweets:
And the party on wheels keeps Rollin...  via Twitterrific

City of Angels...I will see u soon...and the party on wheels continues.  via web

Ok the second tweet might have happened after the sound check question but the first tweet happened on July 2. A person who has not heard of an expression before will not use it in their tweets, and if he did use it there is no way he would have had absolutely no clue what it meant when the question was asked.

There you have it my friends, Justin is not the only person behind his tweets. Doesn't make him any less of the sexy and talented Canuck that I know and love. <3

You heard it here first.

15 July 2010

Earlier today Justin Bieber's "Baby" music video featuring Ludacris overtook Lady GaGa's "Bad Romance" to become the all time most viewed video on Youtube. Before long, Lady GaGa fans went on the offensive and pushed her back into the number one position. GaGa's little monsters have also defaced the comments section on Justin Bieber's video. You'll have to go there to see it for yourself, many of the comments are too explicit to repeat here. The general theme seems to be that Justin Bieber is a talentless homosexual.

At the time of writing, Lady GaGa's video had 245,092,155 views. Bieber's "Baby" video had a pathetic 245,074,968 views. If you want to participate in the battle for #1, then watch the videos below. One helpful Lady GaGa fan suggests "if you ever get tired of watching just mute it and keep refreshing while you do other things :)"

Here is a bit of a weird story but one I think you'll enjoy....

KC montero as Cassandra Monteroid
KC Montero is one of the few Pinoy celebrities who's very active in Twitter. Each day, the TV and radio host uses the social networking site to connect to his friends and fans, as well as to promote his radio show, The KC Show on U92 and broadcasted online through ustream.tv.

What makes The KC Show interesting are the unique schemes that KC pulls off to rope in followers.

Aside from live musical guests—recent ones were Ely Buendia and La Diva—there are comedy skits, commentary, and also a "Phone a Celebrity" segment where KC calls a celebrity and broadcasts the conversation live.

But a new gimmick takes the cake: this involves a wig, a dress, and tons of makeup. Yes, the tall and bulky macho male celebrity is dressing up in drag.

This afternoon, July 12, The KC Show featured KC dressing up as a woman. Shown live on the Web was KC's transformation from a brute to a butterfly named "Cassandra Monteroid."

KC wore a wig from Angel Locsin, a dress from Sarah Meier, and makeup applied live by Bubbles Paraiso.

KC took on the drag challenge today because he lost a bet he made on July 5. On that date, he posted on Twitter: "Lets start a campaign for Justin Bieber to follow me. I will come to work in drag if he does."

Justin Bieber is a young international popstar popular for his songs "Baby" and "One Time." The 16-year old singer has millions of fans all over the world, composed mostly of pre-pubescent girls.

After KC posted his Twitter campaign, hundreds of Pinoy Twitter users immediately reposted it. Even his celebrity friends Denise Laurel, Maxene Magalona, and Angel Locsin promoted his campaign.

The next day, KC posted that the campaign was a success, and that Justin Bieber had indeed followed him on Twitter.

"For those of you who don't know yet. The campaign for the bieb to follow me worked. For that I will be in drag all next week," KC said.

This is why KC started Monday on his radio show in drag.

Justin Bieber fans flock to his Twitter page to find out what the teen superstar is tweeting about each day. But is Justin really the person tweeting to his 3,500,000-plus followers?

It's no secret that some busy stars have their employees posting on Twitter. So, we'd hate to think that Justin has been outsourcing his tweets.

Justin's followers can breathe a sigh of relief, because his manager says tweeting is a daily priority for Justin.

"If he's not on his Twitter, I'll call him and say: 'Get on it,'" Scott Braun told the Scotsman. "As long as he keeps communicating with his fans, he can address any rumour directly because he's speaking to them."

There is a fun campaign going on on Twitter to try to psycho JB out and get his attention. Anyone following JB (that better be all of you) are encouraged to changed your icons to the following items on each given day during this week starting today with a fruit. The list is below (thanks Steph):

Here is my fruit icon for today. It's called a durian and is commonly referred to as the KING OF FRUITS. If you've never seen it before then you are lucky because it stinks so bad it's not even funny. It's also really expensive here in Canada and the US.

Here's the reason I chose this fruit as my icon for today:

Justin Bieber's family are all on Twitter

Any true Bielieber knows how super tight Justin Bieber and his mom Pattie Mallette are. So step one to getting on Justin's good side is being nice to his mom, right? How do you even go about getting on Pattie's radar? Twitter, of course. In fact, we have the Twit facts for warming up to hiswhole family. Both of Justin's parents have Twitter accounts. His mom is @STUDIOMAMA and his dad Jeremy's profile is @lordbieber. Don't forget about his stepmom Erin - her account is @BieberMommy. Check their pages for awesome photos of Justin just hanging out at home with the fam. Moving on to Bieber's extended family: @tammybieber is the Canadian heartthrob's aunt, and keep up with his uncles, @/BigDaddyBieber and@rob_bieber

Whew! Feels like the whole family is staying connected to the globetrotting teen through Twitter, but that makes sense for a guy who doesn't stay in one country for very long.

Today at TechCrunch Disrupt in New York, Justin Bieber’s manager, Scooter Braun, talked about the megastar’s usage of Twitter. It was brilliant. “What other way is a teenage boy going to talk to girls?,” Braun quipped.

Bieber currently has around 2.7 million followers on Twitter, making him one of the most-followed people on the service. But more impressively, Bieber has seemed to dominate Twitter’s Trending Topics area lately. Or rather, he did. Then something happened. “Twitter, if you’re here. You changed your algorithm,” Braun half-joked.

Braun noted that for most of the tweets it is actually Bieber tweeting. In fact, Braun is the only other one with the password to the account — and those tweets are clearly not from Bieber. And of course Bieber is going to tweet for himself: “He’s talking to the 2 million girls has at his disposal,” Braun said.

More seriously, Braun said that the usage of Twitter is actually pretty important. It shows that he’s ”the same person who was talking to them before he got huge, is still talking to them now,” Braun noted.

He noted that there may be a random girl in Iowa who never thought she’d ever talk to Justin Bieber, then he responds to her on Twitter. “That’s something she’ll remember for the rest of her life.”

Bieber spends a least two hours a day on Twitter, Braun noted. “He likes doing it. That’s what kids do.”

16 May 2010

Tween heart-throb Justin Bieber is the center of attention on Twitter again, after a very brief exile.

Last night, Mashable reported that Twitter had updated its "trending topics" algorithm to highlight topics that were actually trending, rather than just consistently popular. The most visible, and widely discussed, impact of this change was that Justin Bieber -- a permanent fixture in the trending topics -- disappeared.

Bieber fans are not dealt with that easily. They saw their idol was gone, assumed his name had been singled out for removal, and adapted. Right now, '#pattiesson' is near the top of Twitter's trending topics. 'Pattie' is the name of Justin Bieber's mother.

Of course, the new algorithm will presumably drop 'pattiesson' once it becomes a Twitter mainstay. But Bieber fans will just switch it up.

This is one battle we recommend Twitter concede before it gets started. These people simply can't be stopped.
