No wonder Justin is changing his mind and saying he now doesn't want to date a fan. Thanks Usher!
Being a mentor to the young pop star Justin Bieber, “OMG” hitmaker Usher had given him an advice about not dating a fan.
The 16-year-old singer has been told to enjoy his success but to learn from his own mistakes and try to keep a distance from his fans.
“I tell Justin you’ve got to love all your fans without falling in love with them. I can’t say I’ve never dated a fan but it’s not a good idea. I tell him to understand that you are a fantasy to them and you should be mindful of that,” Usher said.
“And I encourage him to not take success so seriously so early. Have fun with it. And make friends!”
Meanwhile, Usher, who has two-year-old and 23-month-old sons Usher V and Naviyd with ex-wife Tameka Foster, is indeed grateful for his own success. He knows he’s very lucky and so he would never complain about his life.
“I’m so happy. I can’t complain. And if I did, people would have a fit,” he said.
“How could I complain when I get to do what I do, travel, be with my kids and have a grand life?”

He tells Britain's The Guardian, "There are so many girls who would just do anything for me because of my status. Someone told me it's great to be with somebody who has just as much to lose as you do...
"(Dating someone famous is) probably a good idea. Because I can never date somebody who's so in love with me that she would do anything for me."
In recent weeks, Bieber has been linked romantically to both Demi Lovato and Selena Gomez. He recently attended a high school football game with the latter, and revealed she's a "sweetheart".

Remember that Retarded Justin Bieber Contest (with a great prize) held by a Louisiana radio station which forced Justin Bieber fans to smash his face in order to win a meet and greet?
Kinsey Dean was the lucky winner at Wednesday morning's “Bieber Fever” celebration at Fourth Street Live.
Kinsey competed against four other fans for an acoustic guitar autographed by pop star Justin Bieber during the event sponsored by 99.7 WDJX's Ben Davis and Kelly K. The contestants swung bats at a piñata sporting a photo of Bieber's face.
The grand prize also included meet-and-greet passes to Bieber's concert Wednesday night.

Justin says the love his fans have for him ‘is not real love’ and admits to being lonely!
It looks like things may be getting pretty lonely at the top for Justin Bieber as he is even dissing his fans in his latest interview! Justin sat down with the Daily Mail and when the reporter noted how much his fans love him Justin responded, “It is not real love. You can say it is, but it’s not. They do not know who I am.” Ouch!
Justin, who the reporter notes had been having a tough day due to vocal problems, also says he is getting “lonely” on tour. “I want to hang out with my friends, but I need security,” he explains. He does however have a temporary solution; “I’m going to get my dog to come on the road in a couple of weeks.”
When asked later if there are any singers he admires, or if he wants to be like that other famous Justin (Timberlake), the Biebs replies, “I am going to do a Justin Bieber.”

There was a buyout in Edmonton yesterday and Justin made a surprise appearance to personally thank his fans.

The boy with Canada’s most famous haircut, Justin Bieber, was swarmed by pubescent fans as he cruised through West Edmonton Mall Saturday.
Bieber stopped by Hooters restaurant to get a picture with the tank-topped servers, said waitress Tania Biggar.
“None of the (servers) really got to talk to him. He was surrounded by his fans,” she said. “That’s how we knew he was coming in, it was all 14-year-old girls. And they all kind of move as one.”
The pack of girls filled the aisle of Bourbon Street, one of the mall’s dining areas.
“The hair cut, I think that’s what made him famous,” said Biggar.
Bieber’s visit to Hooters was short, but four of his backup dancers hung out and sang for a free meal.
“We were talking about deep fried pickles, then they said they would sing to me for free deep-fried pickles,” said Biggar. “The manager said if they sang for the whole restaurant, he’d pay for their entire meal.
“They serenaded the girls. They were actually super polite. They were just awesome people to serve. They weren’t demanding or anything like that.”
Surprised or enamoured patrons took pictures and filmed the impromptu performance on their cell phones.
“Everybody that was sitting around them went over to talk to them. They told them they did an awesome job of singing,” Biggar said.
Bieber and his singers are in town to perform Sunday at Rexall Place.
