Justin Bieber is on the lookout for a famous girlfriend - he's vowed never to date a female fan because they are "too adoring".
The Baby hitmaker admits it's hard for him to find a partner who doesn't like him for his fame.
He tells Britain's The Guardian, "There are so many girls who would just do anything for me because of my status. Someone told me it's great to be with somebody who has just as much to lose as you do...
"(Dating someone famous is) probably a good idea. Because I can never date somebody who's so in love with me that she would do anything for me."
In recent weeks, Bieber has been linked romantically to both Demi Lovato and Selena Gomez. He recently attended a high school football game with the latter, and revealed she's a "sweetheart".

I don't think he's saying he wouldn't date a fan. I think he's saying he doesn't want to date someone who doesn't know how to say no to him.

ok no offense, but almost all of his fans would just forget about him if he slowly fell out of the spotlight. A lot of people say they love him for being himself but they really don't even if they think they do.
..a lot of fans love him for the person he is...not his fame...we loved him ever since youtube was his only means of publication....we wud still love you even if you wud date a skanky biatch hu does a ho-hum cheesy comercial/tv show something....justin is a great person...i even sometimes wish he was still a small-town boy...he wud be much easier to reach that way... :n

she is right. Maybe Usher has dated a fan that turned out not to be what he thought..but he just dated the wrong ones, and probably didn't get to know them long enough. Justin is smarter then to go out with a girl after one date..mostly if she is not famous...cuz he has to get to know her. A lot of people not famous, date someone after getting to know them for a while. He will dissapoint A LOT of fans like brooke.x said. And ALL famous people think cuz they r famous that they can't date non-famous people...some even think they r too good to date non-famous people. And it sucks...cuz if u want to be with them, u have to give up ur privacy and be a star to be with them. I say someone should become famous and actually start dating fans after getting to know them...cuz it only takes ONE to make a difference. :d
he's become big headed in my opinion, so whatever happened to "i would definitely date a fan" wagon? suddenly he's so up there, happens all the time to famous people, when they think they live in an exclusive world of fame and paparrazi, where who they date is status symbol. So what options does he have? well there's Selena gomez (whom every most famous teen seem to date)like an initiation lol, demi lovato,miley cyrus, miranda cosgrove (she's not from disney, is that a problem?), and that's all you have. I'd have been interested if he'd date Abigail breslin, because she is younger and shorter than him and they'd make a cute couple, they are like opposites, abbie is like a serious down to earth actress and he is well, not that respected and not that down to earth(anymore anyway, so he probably need someone who remind him of that,not fellow fame addicts disney stars (not all of them are like that, but some obviously is). whatever but i guess, famous teen boys would first and foremost have famous teen disney girls as choices (never mind if they're two years older or taller). that is just how it is. In my opinion, bieber is just as corny as disney (which he called corny too), yup, he has a jonas brother vibe. not really jay sean,sean kingston or ludacris one. he's disney. and he's head just got swollen. he should come back to earth.
I think everyone deserves a chance, Its like were all dogs, celebrities being pedigree... why do they get special treatment. Half of them aren't even talented... but whatever, maybe chosing the RIGHT fan to date CAREFULLY would be a better option instead of ruling it out all together. But you know, Celebrities come first :j
