Extreme Makeover: Home Edition likely doesn’t dominate in the tween ratings demographic, but that should all change on Sunday, Jan. 30.

Justin Bieber will be the show’s celebrity guest star that day, as the Extreme Makeover team helps the Brown family from Wellman, Tex.

The Browns are still recovering from the loss of their teenage daughter, Alex, who died in a texting-while-driving accident. Parents Jeanne and Johnny Mac, along with their 12-year-old daughter, Katrina, are now making it their mission to prevent others from the same fate.

Celebrity volunteers including Bieber, actress Emma Roberts, and NASCAR racers Carl Edwards and Greg Biffle, all sign the B.U.S.T. (or Buckle Up and Stop Texting) pledge in the episode, promising not to text while driving.

Bieber, who also performs in the episode, recently gave a shout-out to Katrina on Twitter.

“Nope i didnt forget about u. Everyone follow Katrina. met her on EXTREME HOME MAKEOVER. she is an incredibly strong person.”

Extreme Makeover: Home Edition airs Sundays, 8 p.m. ET, Citytv/ABC.

Justin Bieber’s New PETA Ad ‘Animals Can Make U Smile’

Justin Bieber, 16, new ad for PETA says “Animals Can Make U Smile“. Justin took time out of his crazy schedule to join forces with PETA as the latest celebrity spokesperson for the them. In the video for the campaign he says “A lot of animals are getting abused in different homes … and I think it’s really important we just stay aware about these different situations.”

Justin goes on to say how his dog is his closest companion and encourages his fans to adopt from an animal shelter.

Every year, approximately 6 to 8 million animals find themselves in animal shelters, and 3 to 4 million of those may never find a new home. It’s up to us to help them—so always spay or neuter your animal companions, never buy animals from a breeder or a pet store. Go HERE to make a pledge to help.

I already have a dog and three cats so I cannot adopt anymore. But, outside my front door I keep two dishes which are always filled with food so at least the cats, birds, raccoons on my street never go hungry :-)

HARRISBURG, Pa.—A central Pennsylvania girl seriously injured in a car crash has received flowers from teen heartthrob Justin Bieber thanks to a Facebook campaign launched by her fellow students.

The Patriot-News reports the 16-year-old pop star sent two dozen roses to 14-year-old Elizabeth McCleerey on Saturday. Another teen idol, 13-year-old Cody Simpson, visited McCleerey in person last week.

McCleerey remains hospitalized following a late October car crash that injured her and four others. She has had to relearn how to speak but her mother says she remembers all the words to both performers' songs.

A fellow freshman at Cumberland Valley High School started the group, which drew the backing of National Guard soldiers and has more than 3,000 supporters.

Kendall Sherry's life may have its tough moments but on Tuesday night, one of her dreams came true.

Originally from Ottawa, the 12-year-old suffers from spina bifida - a birth defect affecting the spinal column - and moves around using a wheelchair. She now lives with her adoptive family in Kelowna, B.C.

In October, she was being taped for a feature spot on Global's Show of Hearts Telethon, a children's charity which had helped her family by installing a new elevator in their home. Organizers noticed she had a crush on teen pop star Justin Bieber.

Global and Entertainment Tonight Canada sent a note to Bieber's management team to get a recorded message from the teen idol sent back to Kendall. Instead, Bieber's team decided to invite Kendall and her mom, Susan, to fly out to Toronto to meet Bieber in person and attend the concert at the Air Canada Centre on Tuesday.

"She was in terrible shock," said Susan, of Kendall's reaction. "I don't think she came out of shock until (Wednesday) morning. I think it took her all night to realize that this was real because she actually asked if she was being 'punked.' "

Kendall, who is naturally shy, tends to obsess over things due to a mental disability associated with her spina bifida.

"The trick was that we didn't actually tell her (in advance)," said her father Jay. "She didn't know. It's just her nature, so we kept the information from the whole family."

Susan and Jay have seven adopted children, including Kendall, five of whom are Haitian, ranging in age from 12 to 20 years old.

"One of the other girls was very jealous," Jay said with a laugh.

"Kendall really deserves it," added Susan. "She doesn't ask for much. She goes about life like, 'That's the way my life is and I'm just going to do the best I can.' She just has that kind of personality.

"She will always remember this. It will be a big deal for her for a long time."

Justin Bieber has announced that he is donating a portion of proceeds from his new acoustic LP to children's hospitals in America.

The U Smile singer has teamed up with charity, Children's Miracle Network, to launch the fundraising campaign, where the 16-year old will hand over cash made from the sales of My World Acoustic, when it is released tomorrow in the US.

Speaking of the campaign on Twitter, Justin explained: "I am in the position to give back thanks to my fans and God. I wrote (track) Pray thinking I wanted to help others and I feel like I have a responsibility to do so."

He added: "What is the point of doing all this if you can’t make a difference in others’ lives? This album is a gift to my fans and the money raised from it allows us all to help out."

Justin also revealed this week that he has joined the It Gets Better Project, by recording a video message for the anti-bullying campaign.

In the clip, the 16-year old speaks directly to the bullies, claiming it's "not cool" to pick on people and encourages those being bullied to seek help.

JB, who recently claimed he has been a victim of bullying himself, states: "I just wanted to say there's nothing cool about being a bully."

"If you're getting bullied, make sure to tell someone and, you know, it gets better and if you're a bystander, make sure to step in and, you know, help out."

The likes of US President Barack Obama, Katy Perry and Ke$ha have also recorded anti-bullying messages for the It Gets Better project.

Nail Polish Pencils of Promise Charity Justin Bieber

Justin Bieber's music has inspired a collection of nail polish, but the 16-year-old singer says he won't be wearing any of the Bieber-riffic shades.

"It's not really my nail polish line. Like, I think it's weird to think about that," he said at a recent event to promote his autobiography, "First Step 2 Forever: My Story."

Bieber says the nail polish from Nicole by OPI, which is set to hit stores next month, is inspired by his hit songs. "Like, there's names like named after my music," he said.

"I don't know," he said. "It's like a really weird concept."

The collection, called One Less Lonely Girl, is set to include a bright red shade called OMB! and a glittery polish named Step 2 the Beat of My Heart.

Members of Bieber's team chimed in to add that the impetus for the nail polish line was OPI's willingness to donate to Pencils of Promise, a school-building organization Bieber has supported before.

"So do you want me to say that?" Bieber asked, then turned to a reporter and said, "Yeah, a portion of it goes to charity, so that's always good."

Justin Biebers Anti-Bullying Campaign Wasnt Due To Richmond Laser Tag Attack

The always-charitable Biebs was in talks to join the anti-bullying campaign LONG before he was attacked while playing laser tag!

A source close to Justin Bieber is finally setting the record straight, telling HollywoodLife.com exclusively that the teen sensation and his crew have been kicking around ideas for a while about how to join the anti-bullying campaign. “Justin isn’t one to sit back and watch things go down,” the source assures us. Recent reports claimed Justin was called a homophobic slur while playing laser tag, which resulted in him joining the nationwide campaign — but that’s simply not the case.

And our source tells us we should expect big things from Justin, as always! “If we do it in the next couple weeks, we want to do it with more than just words,” the source says. “We want to do something that will actually help.”

Justin Bieber will take a stand against bullying and homophobia after he was on the receiving end of some hateful words this weekend ... TMZ has learned.

Justin Bieber takes stand agains homophobia and bullying

As TMZ first reported, Bieber was confronted by a 12-year-old boy at a laser arcade -- and things got heated after the boy called Bieber "a fagg0t." We're told the boy repeated the comment and then put his hand out toward Bieber and Bieber pushed it away as he left. We're told Bieber's rep has told police this story and it is backed up by witnesses.

Bieber is telling friends he had no idea how hurtful these comments could be -- but even though he's a straight teenager, he now wants to take a stand against bullying and homophobia.

We're told Bieber will be going public -- probably within the next week -- to lend his support to the anti-bullying campaign.

And this is interesting ... our sources say Bieber's own people wanted to keep the specifics of the confrontation under wraps, but Justin felt it was important for people to know what happened.

As TMZ has already reported ... although police are investigating the incident, they've already concluded Bieber was not the instigator.
