Just like Dec 25th, Dec 26th is a national holiday in Canada. It's called Boxing Day. We call it Boxing Day because this is when we all rebox everything we don't want and return them to the stores for cash. Yes we made a national holiday for this. (lol. Ok just kidding. I have no idea why it's called Boxing Day.)

Boxing Day is THE SHOPPING DAY OF THE YEAR. Everything is at crazy discounts. Stores like Mexx, Guess, and Lacoste currently are selling EVERYTHING in their stores at 50% off. Some stores offer even bigger discounts. The only problem are the line ups. They are huge.

So it should be no surprise that Justin also hit up the mall to grab some bargains of his own. Doesn't seem like he's getting any special treatment waiting for his turn to try on some shorts just like everybody else at Fairview Mall in Kitchener, Ontario hear Toronto.

Wanna see how Boxing Day's really like in Canada?

That's a video taken yesterday inside Eaton Centre, a mall in downtown Toronto.

Now why would THE Justin Bieber ever want to shop on a crazy day like this?

Thanks Julissa!

"You take the video cuz I don't wanna look like a f*cken idiot". LMAO. ahhhhhh

Anyways, here is a video of Justin in Stratford yesterday doing some last minute shopping at Winners.

First off let's get one thing straight in case you are wondering. This is not how the stores typically look in Canada. Winners is a low end department store just like The Ross and Burlington Coat Factory in the US. They sell the good brand stuff stuff (Versace etc) but at bargain prices. You just gotta really look through everything to find the good stuff. It's crazy cheap.

But this shows how down to earn Justin really is. He is one of the biggest superstars in the world and has millions of dollars. He could shop anywhere. While most celebrities would rather be dead than be caught shopping at a bargain department store like Winners, Justin proves that he is just like any other normal teenager when he's back home in Canada, shopping with Chaz and Ryan and doing things that make him forget that he is "Justin Bieber" the pop superstar. Love him for this and love this video

Come back to Canada more often Justin. There's no place like home. It helps keep you grounded.

Thanks to Mel for taking this candid/stalkerish video.

Justin Bieber Won't Face Charges In Laser-Tag Incident
Pop star was accused of punching a 12-year-old boy in the face.

It looks like Justin Bieber will not have this on his permanent record. After facing possible sanction for an incident at a Richmond, British Columbia, laser-tag park where he allegedly punched a 12-year-old boy in the face, police in Richmond said they have decided not to file charges against Justin Bieber.

"The file in regard to the alleged assault at the entertainment center has been concluded, and no charges will be forwarded," Corporal Turley of the Richmond Royal Canadian Mounted Police told MTV News on Tuesday (December 14). "The investigation is complete." Turley said the evidence collected did not support going forward with the investigation, noting that she was unable to confirm whether Bieber was one of the persons involved because of a law prohibiting the dissemination of information into criminal cases involving youths.

Bieber had been accused of getting into a scuffle with the unidentified boy during an October 15 session at the Planet Lazer Entertainment Center in Richmond. According to reports, Bieber got angry when the boy allegedly hurled a homophobic slur at him and lashed out in response.

The boy sustained minimal injuries after what TMZ reported was an incident in which Bieber, 16, was targeted by an overzealous laser-tag player who used an anti-gay slur against him. When the 12-year-old stuck his hand out toward Bieber, the "Baby" singer reportedly batted it away and left the park.

A short time later, Bieber spoke out against bullying and posted an "It Gets Better" clip. In it, he said, "Hey guys, I'm Justin Bieber. I just wanted to say there's nothing cool about being a bully. And if you're getting bullied, make sure to tell someone and, you know, it gets better. And if you're a bystander, make sure to step in and, you know, help out."

Commemorating his massive 4 wins at the American Music Awards, Justin Bieber received a special surprise cake during his concert in Canada last night (November 23).

The “One Less Lonely Girl” singer was joined onstage by his mother Pattie Mallette and other members of his family as his bodyguard Kenny Hamilton presented him with the frosted treat.

And it seems the crowd at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto was nothing short of ecstatic about the night’s festivities.

One crazy teen girl fan told press, "It was so good! I love him. I am going to marry Justin Bieber.”

justin bieber hockey
Hockey is already the red-headed step child of the sports world, and something tells me that an endorsement from Justin Bieber isn’t going to help.

The Beebs says that if he wasn’t titillating tweens around the world with his barely-tolerable musical stylings, he’d be…playing pro hockey?

“Singing is my first passion, but if things didn’t work out, I would be trying to play for the Toronto Maple Leafs,” Bieber said confidently. “I’m sure I could teach them a thing or two with my mad skills!”

Justin Bieber did not assault anyone, nor was the singer referred to as a homophobic slur.

So states Michael Kwen, a friend of Justin's who actually played laser tag with him last weekend and spoke to E! News about the rumors circulating around the Internet regarding an alleged incident between Bieber and a 12-year old in Canada.

Here's what actually went down:

Kwen says Bieber and the boy in question completed their laser tag contest and exited the game's maze. The boy went to his father and Justin approached Kwen.

"He told me that he accidentally hit the kid while trying to escape by running through him and his friends," Kwen said.

There was no punching involved and no one used the word "faggot," as reports have indicated. But one item does appear to be valid: The boy's father's went off.

"He was yelling, like he was a lawyer...saying that Justin Bieber assaulted his kid," Kwen said of the scene. "[But] it was just a normal game of laser tag, people will always bump into you."

Sources say this money-hungry adult will pursue charges against Bieber, likely hoping for a quick settlement and payday.

Overall, Kwen concluded: "Nothing actually happened... it's funny how the story always changes. First it was a slap, then it was a punch and now there's homophobic slurs. None of that actually happened at all."

Good. Now we can simply return to reporting on Bieber's music and his hair and his dashing looks and his dedicated fan base...

These are Justin's Filipino backup singers from the San Francisco area. Yesterday while eating with Justin at the WEM Hooters they asked the manager if they could get free deep fried pickles if they sing him a song. The manager instead offered to pay for their entire meal if they would sing to the whole restaurant. The video above is that impromptu performance.

There was a buyout in Edmonton yesterday and Justin made a surprise appearance to personally thank his fans.

surprised everyone at the @EdmontonBuyout 2day. thanks for all the support. @legacimusic was singing to the girls in hooters 2. nice boys

In case you guys aren't from Canada.... Ontario has two hockey teams, Ottawa Senators and Toronto Maple Leafs so there's an obvious rivalry. Growing up in Stratford, which is a 2 hours drive from Toronto, Justin has always been a Leafs fan. Dan Kanter on the other hand is from Ottawa so he supports the Senators.
