Jusitn Bieber wearing fake glasses

Some of you might wonder if Justin wears glasses or not as we have seen him during several outings where he sported spectacles, most recently on Feb 13 at the Nokia Plaza. Sometimes black. Sometimes white. Always thick.

This might lead to some confusion. And of course, knowing more true facts about Justin never hurt since we already know his shoe size, favorite color, favorite shows, favorite fruit....

Now you can add another fact to your memory bank. Justin does not need to wear glasses. He wears them purely for the look during appearances. (Hey, I've done the same thing. The only difference was that I didn't make any appearances. lol )

Anyways, I think he looks rather cute with those glasses on. Should wear them more often.

If you are trying to find these types of glasses, there are some cheap ones at amazon.com

Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez are set to perform at Pop-Con at Nassau Coliseum in New York on Saturday. Although the two are set to perform separate sets, Gomez hasn't ruled out the possibility of taking the stage together to try out a duet or two.
"I'm excited. We would love to. We're trying to work it out," Gomez, who will be performing with her band The Scene, told MTV News. "We don't know yet. We're still trying to figure out if we're going to do something together onstage. [It] might be a surprise, but as far as co-headlining — I don't know. I'm sure he's much bigger. [It's] probably his show — I'm just there."
Other performers at Pop-Con will include Push Play, Mercy Mercedes, Care Bears on Fire, Nat and Alex Wolff of the Naked Brothers Band and Sean Kingston. The convention "aims to be the pop event with the stars the kids want to see." The day will feature other young actors that tweens and teens love as well as industry insiders there to give aspiring performers advice on how to break into show business.
But Bieber and Gomez have met before — they both played "Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve" and Gomez confesses that at this point they are such good friends, he almost feels like family.
"I love Justin. When he first started to come over from Canada his manager contacted me and he just said that he would like to meet me and he was just such a good kid," she explained. "And I feel like a big sister now, 'cause I want to protect him. So I'm always very cautious with him, but he is so talented and he's so sweet, so that just started us wanting to work together. Now he's just become one of my good friends."

The surprise appearance of teenage pop star Justin Bieber at her school Tuesday filled her with overwhelming glee.

"This is the best thing that's happened to our school," said Secaida, at 15 year old fan of Justin Bieber.

Northview High School recently won the "Principal for a Day" contest, organized by radio station Power 106. The school with the most votes after four weeks would get a visit from Bieber.

As soon as the competition started in January, Secaida said she and her friends mobilized. They sent out mass text messages reminding people to vote. They used social networking sites such as Twitter and distributed old-fashioned fliers.

And it worked. Of nearly half a million votes from 40 schools, Northview High pulled in 56 percent of them, said Junior Moreno, event coordinator for the radio station. The school knew that it had won the contest but didn't know exactly when Bieber would appear, students said.

Principal Mark Sims said radio station organizers scouted out the school last week. He received word a few days ago about Bieber's arrival, he said. Then, Tuesday morning, Bieber appeared, to the delight of many students.

The students "deserve something positive and this was positive for the kids and the school," Sims said.

As part of his administrative duties, Bieber made a schoolwide address over the PA system and visited a couple classrooms for pictures, school officials said.

He also gave a 20-minute concert in the school courtyard in front of a swath of excited fans.

When Bieber appeared in her yearbook class shortly before noon, sophomore Ashley Medina, 15, could muster only one type of reaction. "I was screaming," said the 15-year old, as she clutched her digital camera with pictures of her and the pop star.

And yes, the boys howled too.

"Everyone was screaming," she said.

Bieber was discovered by record company executives after posting singing competition videos on the YouTube Web site.

His debut album, My World, was released in November.
