Taking his pop music arsenal to the far east, Justin Bieber was spotted arriving at Narita Airport in Tokyo, Japan today (April 20).

The “One Less Lonely Girl” singer was greeted by throngs of enthusiastic fans as he made his way through the terminal, sporting a blue hat, blue shoes, and a black leather jacket.

In related news, “American Idol” executive producer Cecile Frot-Coutaz recently sang Bieber’s praises as an inspiration to his generation, hence she chose him to appear on “American Idol Gives Back.”

"All the decisions are a matter of balance, and it's a matter of scheduling the various performances that we have in the best way possible. So more specific, because you know we have themes every week, depending on our theme, we'll have a mentor. Depending on the theme and the mentor, we'll have performances that suit our organics of the results show."

"Other people who want to be on Idol like Justin, Idol Gives Back was a good night for him to be in because he's obviously phenomenal and he's young and he's a real inspiration for the young generation. So it was a really good really good fit for him to be in that special episode."
